Waiting times for a dog or cat grooming appointment are currently running at 10 days. Please book early to avoid disappointment.

26th May

The new cabinet dryer has arrived and I've managed to cut the waiting times down to 10 days. The cabinet dryer uses upto date technology and is thermostatically controlled so that the temperature can not rise above the set temperature. This guarantees that all dogs are safe and cannot over heat.

STOP PRESS

I've been asked to give a talk/ demonstration by the Lincolnshire Group of Newspapers at both of its Lifestyle Events that they are running at Market Rasen and Grantham next month. I'll let you know how things go later on.

12th May

The hot warm weather has caused the usual rush and the dog and cat grooming has gone crazy. I am trying to accommodate everyone and am working late nights and Sundays to keep waiting times down.

However this week Deepdale Pets takes delivery of a new cabinet dryer. It will cut the waiting times down for your pets.

Boarding animals are also feeling the heat and are being equipped with 'ice pods' to keep them cool. Please remember that hot weather can be dangerous for rabbits and especially guinea pigs.

28th April

With the start of summer and the warmer weather the dog grooming is picking up pace .

Please remember to book ahead to avoid disappointment . I will try to accommodate you but I will not squeeze dogs in as this leads to cutting corners and that is when mistakes happen. Remember that was the whole reason that I started this dog grooming business to be able to give appropriate grooming time with your dog .

We have also had a new dog hydrobath added so you can be sure that your dog can enjoy a pleasant yet deep cleansing bath.

With the school holidays the small animal boarding has been full. I've had plenty of rabbits and guinea pigs staying with me for their holidays. A number have already booked again for later in the year.

The little guests have had lots of fuss and attention. The rabbits and guinea pigs have had lots of space to have fun and play with various tunnels and toys. With fresh grass and fruit / veg daily and then a 'snuggle safe' hot water bottle to cuddle up to on a night - What a holiday!

My little tortoise friend, Lottie, has been staying with me again and she definitely has me wrapped around her little claw. Freshly pulled organic dandelion leaves, still with dew on her favorite!!

With only a limited number  of your special pets being able to book in I can make sure that everyone gets the love that they deserve.

Welcome to the first edition of the Deepdale Pets News.

With the continuing growth of the business and the extra services that are becoming available on both the grooming and the pet boarding side I am hopefully going to be able to keep you informed and updated so that you are able to pick and choose the services that suit you.

Also I would like to use this platform to help many of the animals that through no fault of their own require re homing. If you are a re homing charity or organization that have any news, events or other information that you think that I could post then please get in contact with me.
