About us
My name is Rowena Boden and I am a qualified dog groomer.
But what is it that makes me 'qualified' you may ask. Well, I hold the City & Guilds 7750 Advanced Dog Grooming Certificate and I have been grooming for over 10 years.
I ran my own successful grooming business for a number of years before taking a break to have a family. Upon returning to grooming I worked for a kennels, and then a local veterinary surgeons as their head groomer, before starting my own business again.
I also hold the C&G 7407 (Stage 1 & 2) Teaching Certificate for Adults. The Grooming Room was born in January 2005.
I originally established The Grooming Room as I was becoming more despondent with the grooming services that were available to people and their pets within the immediate area. The horror stories of dogs injured or needing the services of a veterinary surgeon after visiting their groomer appalled me.
At the moment there is nothing to say that a groomer needs to be trained or have any qualifications - anybody can set up and class themselves as professional because they charge for their services.
We specialise in Dog and Cat grooming for the residents of Leasingham, Ruskington, Cranwell, Sleaford and the surrounding villages. All the work is carried out by myself and I am proud to say that I am City & Guilds Qualified.
Through working for myself I can offer a service that does not need to be so ‘conveyor belt’. I can allow that extra time that nervous or difficult dogs and cats require. My aim is total care and kindness for your pet whilst grooming to a style that suits your needs.
At Deepdale Pets we also want your rabbits and guinea pigs to be as happy as possible and can now offer friendly, caring and safe boarding in luxury sized hutches and runs letting them enjoy their holiday whist you take yours. |
